As a pragmatic old guy,I'd only be looking for a OEM replacement for the damaged one.If funds are tight, why spend hundreds on wheels on an older car? Just for looks? A chunk of change for a full set, with mounting and balancing. You might be buying a new tire in any case.
The tire chewed up the lip but it's not bent and the lock situation cause alot of scrapes. But I want new wheels but I know I won't be able to spend as much as I want because of school, etc. So I'll definitely be careful of the offset
Do yourself a favor - if you are not trying to troll us, type craigslist.com and search your area for wheels that came off your model. 200 bucks.
Buy 'em from a Mustang specialist, such as cjpony, lmr, etc.and talk to their rep.....not a one size fits all shop.
Let us know which side of a grand you end up on.
Hahah my paychecks are about 500$ haha so it will be a very long time till I get some good rims. I'm Goin cheap . It's just for fun not to race or show off to anyone
Like z28 said earlier, make sure you get a wheel in the correct offset range. If youre not sure, post up the wheel size you want and I can let you know on what offset you need.
