Im looking to install a new cam into my 2004 mustang gt. Everything is stock i would like to start off with a cam and exhaust. I love the lope the cam makes so im not sure if i should go with a stage 2 or 3 because this is my daily driver. And what exhaust woukd sound best i was looking at the Borla s type any thoughts?

Stage 2 is most likely what you want. Kind of a big subject though, and things like your long term goals for the car should be considered. Most manufacturers' stage 3 cams will require notched pistons due to PTV clearance issues.
Other things to be considered along with a camshaft upgrade is a higher stall speed torque converter if you have an automatic transmission, and most stage 2 cams come with the recommendation of using 3.73 or numerically higher rearend gears.
Something else that personally I would do, sort of a "while you're in there and it's all apart anyway" is install a new timing chain set (chains, guides and tensioners).
As far as exhaust it really comes down to taste or preference. Borla makes very nice stuff but also a bit pricey. If you are willing to pay $200 more than just about every other catback out there then I'm sure you'll be happy, never heard anything bad about them. Start looking on Youtube, there are literally 1million Mustang exhaust clips on there to help you decide what you want.
