Default 6 bellhousing bolts!

I did not notice this during disassembly but at some point in the past my '96 must have lost a bellhousing bolt. While putting the trans back in I'm short one of the medium length bolts (ie: would fit the top most location).

Looks like all the aftermarket options are for the full kit, and ebay is showing the same. Guess I'll be swinging by the local ford dealer tomorrow but does anybody know if this bolt is available stand-alone?

Also... How bad would it be to run with only 6 bellhousing to engine block bolts? Clearly I have been for who knows how long, and where would you opt to run the empty bolt hole?

Doubtful that it came out.Someone just didn't want the aggravation of trying to put in the last difficult one, whenever the clutch was last done..
Obviously the car has been functioning without it.Personally,I would have all bolts in.If Ford can't supply a single bolt, perhaps a suitable Grade 8 could be sourced from your local hardware store.

Take one like it to lowes or home depot and match it up.

10x1.5 thread, 65mm long but a 60mm fits and still shows a hair of thread out the back end of the hole. Actually found 10.9 black oxide shouldered bolts at a local hardware!
