Well, did the block test today and it changed a little but not to a complete yellow, still see a little bit of blue but just a little. And yes Z28klr I will most likely say F it and do both just for the hell of it if it comes down to that. Dont have the money this week or time to mess with renting the leak down tester. I cant get the pics of the color of the fluid off my dang phone so you can see what i mean. If I figure it out Ill post them thanks again.

Well did my test yesterday and it didnt change at all this time. Did the test friday which i thought it had changed a very little bit, again did it yesterday and it didnt change at all. Too bad it only does this crap when the motor is cold. Idk what to do other than check the radiator for blockage but even then why would it not leak when its hot. very lost at what could be the issue tbh. Thanks again

Heat expands materials. If you have a hairline fracture in the head/block or a bad head gasket it's possible that as it heats up, it seals itself from the expansion. That also goes the other way, if you heat up materials too much, they may allow a leak as the surfaces that were previously sealed change shape and no longer fit tightly together enough to continue sealing the leak.

Should I try a compression test while the motor is cold? Just throwing that out there.
