Brake warning light on when braking.

So in short either it will cost me a few bucks for brake fluid or the cost will drive me to eating ramen noodle packs for the next year. Thank all of you so much! I’ll let you know what happens.

LOL Well it probably won't be a crazy expensive repair, but it's definitely going to be more than just brake fluid.

Remember, while brake fluid does need to be changed from time to time, it's not something that has to be "topped off every once in a while" before you "run out" of it. Low brake fluid is not a problem all by itself so much as it's an indicator of a problem somewhere else. Inspect the brakes at all four corners, and the hydraulics from front to rear for leaks. That fluid's going somewhere.

I still can’t wrap my head around the fact you have low brake fluid and haven’t checked the pad wear or to see if fluid is leaking from a caliper/hose

Step away from the forum and get the car checked because you clearly seem incapable. You’re driving a vehicle on the roads next to families with a potential brake issue
