Tint question
Hello everyone I just got my mustang tinted 20% all the way around except for the rear. My buddy didn't have time to do this in one day because he was super busy. The car seems light in the front for 20% when look directly on and certain angles. Is this because the rear has yet to be done or is that how 20% is. Once he finally tints the back should it darken the fronts up more. I also plan on adding a 5%sun strip on the windshield. Sorry for the insanely dumb question.

20% is light, because PA law doesn't allow more than 30% for passenger cars.
70% of light must pass through all of the windows. SUVs and VANs, the rear
driver, passenger, and rear windows, no restriction.
I had a Pontiac Vibe that was tinted, darker, and I happened to pass a State
Trooper while going into downtown PGH. Once we got into town, he got
behind me, and then pulled me over. He said "I bet you're wondering why
I pulled you over." He pointed to the windows, and said these are too dark,
AND said he just happened to have the METER to measure. So, he put
the meter on the driver side window, and it was 40%, he said, can't javbe
it. I said, this is a company car, they tinted the windows, and did so because
I carry lots of cash and tools in here and didn't want people looking in to
see what was in here. He said, you could be hiding a dead body in here,
they just can be this dark. So, he wrote the company the ticket. My
partner INSISTED that I work this SATURDAY for some reason, and well,
he paid for it....
What people forget, is if your car has A/C, they can be already factory
darkened glass. look for a "Complies with VESC-20" label on the window.
If it has that, and you went 20% tint, now you're at 40%, and are over the
PA legal limit.
