02 GT with a TR3650. Come down to a couple choices, which should I get, MGW or the Steeda Tri-ax short throw shifter? Thx, opinions are appreciated.

I've had the Steeda for 10+ years, not one bad thing to say about it. You can't go wrong. If I had it to do again though I would probably go MGW just because everybody I've come across who has used both favors the MGW.

My MGW works well. I bet most of the common, 'big selling' shifters also work well.

I have a Steeda on my T5 and I love it, but I've never had the opportunity to compare it to the MGW. Not sure if there's any appreciable difference in the mechanism itself, but FWIW the MGW does have a little more built-in adjustability for handle placement. However, the Steeda is easier to fabricate a custom handle for, should you ever need it.

With exception to the couple of cheap "house brand" ones out there I'd agree. Any of them - Pro 5.0, Hurst, the ones named in this thread will all be a vast improvement. Besides the cheap ones I've never heard anybody complain about any of them beyond stating they've used A, B and C and preferred the B sort of thing.

Alright, I figured it would all just be a matter of preference. Thank you all for the replies.
