How much do you think it will take to build a forged bottom end, I'm looking at putting twin turbos on it.

Jp39, before you do anything please read the info on this link. https://www.stangtv.com/tech-stories...end-for-boost/
I have been down this road before and congratulate you for realizing the lower end is your primary building foundation. The first thing I usually do, is begin with a aftermarket block. If you are introducing twin turbos, then EVERYTHING must be bullet proof. Take your time and research this project to its fullest extent. Good luck, I like your style.

There is no reason to replace the block itself. reuse your stock block, find a 96-98 kellog cobra crank in good shape, and for a 1000whp capable shortblock you will be looking at around 3-3500$ depending on machine shop costs and parts chosen

4700$ for a 600hp shortblock? no thank you. 96-98 cobra crank, some molnar rods and custom diamond pistons that his machine shop can source will net him a motor capable of well over 1000hp and cost way less.......but thanks for trying lol
