Borla Atak exhaust
 

I have a 99 4.6l convertible. I'm wanting to put a set of Borla Ataks on. The law in Maine says you can't have an exhaust that's louder than 93 decimals. I can't find any info out there on this setup that tell me if these will be ok to use. They're legal in 50 states the site says. Wondering if anyone knows how many decimals these are. I also have a pipe installed.

No idea on dB levels with that exhaust but more than likely it exceeds that standard especially with your off road midpipe. What it really comes down to is enforcement. What do the cops use to measure it and are they properly trained in doing so? Most aren't. My guess is as long as you aren't observed driving like an assh0le then they'll probably leave you alone anyway.
