Motive Gear or FRPP 4.10's
Is there a quality difference? Does one whine? I know Motive Gear is about $50 less, so is there any reason not to go with them? And do I need to get a new master bearing with 20,000 miles.

Without a doubt +1. Just do a search on any mustangs forum website and you will find dozens of threads about the motives being bad. FRRP is the only way to go for gears.

Does FRPP make a 3.90? Also anyone know anything about Microniting?

sorry don't know about Microniting..
as I only had a choice of 3.73 or 4.10 gears.. so I went with the 3.73 as final gear.
( 4.10 was to much for me.. to much highway driving )

the only reason gears whine is if they are installed incorrectly. period, end of story, and if its a manual i would seriously look at getting 4.30s with the t3650 tranny, you will be at 2800 rpms at 80 mph and loose liek 3 mpg

FYI I'm at 2900 rpms with 4.10's @ 80 mph. You would likely see 3000 rpm @ 80 with 4.30's.

How much street performance do you even get with 4.10's. On street tires, won't I just be spinning all over the place. It seems like for street races on stock tires, the 4.10 could hurt my performance. Or is it just something you have to get good at. Or can be corrected with better suspension?
