No offense but anyone who knows anything about dragging these cars will tell you to go with the MT ET Streets. Not for brand loyalty but for one simple reason - They are the ONLY DOT drag radials that utilizes the same rubber compound as a true slick. Every other DR out there is simply a street tire with less tread.

Watch any NMRA or PSCA event and you won't find a single one running anything but the MT's in the DOT DR classes.
Actually the M&H drag radials are just as good and according to the durometer they are almost identical. Plus the M&Hs can be bought in a 28" tire so they don't look stupid if you decide to do a little driving around town on them.

Hey I ran the 1.78 on my stock Pirelli's @ Darlington last Thursday night at Mustang week dragnight. I had 100hp zex shot on it. I have video and timeslip to prove it. Which do you want?

I don't think you would go far on the slicks the stock clutch is pretty weak. I hazed mine after the 3rd launch @5000rpm on the MT ET Street drags. Usually a set of slicks will shave up to 3 or 4 tenths off though. I've seen improvements up to 7 tenths though.
