WIll I be Bummed With an Auto
Can't find an 06 manual tranny that I want (red on red). I have foudn one with everything I want EXCEPT it has an auto. Don't know if I'll like it though. Any thoughts?

I'd either keep looking or order an 07. As far as performance, the manual and automatics should be pretty close. Obviously the auto will be a little slower, but its not that much slower.

My auto will outshift just about everyone but the most skilled draggers, I never miss 3rd. That being said Mlawdawg if you really want a stick keep looking dont settle for something you dont really want.

I never miss 3rd either. Neither will anyone else who drives their stick more than once a week. I guess I should have said...
Unless you are over 40 years old or are a complete "r" tard who is not smart enough to follow a shift diagram your sports car should have a stick. IMO
BTW it is more than shifting gears fast that makes manuals quicker than automatics.

Pretty funny group here. I'm not wooried about missing 3rd for sure. I am 41. When you get there, you'll realize you're not really as old a fart as you think 41 is now. Now i found a white manual with dark charcoal. If only it had the crimson red, I'd be all over it. Still, at 400 under invoice and o/72, I could change teh leather, or live with teh dark, which is cool too.

I didn't mean to say you were old.
My dad is in his 40's and he says " By the time you reach 40 you have changed all the gears you want to change" Thats all I meant.
I love the white with the dark charcoal interior. If you get some black stripes down on her, you will really stand out. But if it ain't what you want, don't get it. That is a chunk of change you'll be throwing down.

+5 order the car of your dreams and BE PATIENT.
Now, regarding missing 3rd with the MANUAL tranny....yes it can happen.
When you really get on it in second gear and bring it up near redline, shifting
to third can be difficult at times....i believe an aftermarket short throw shift
kit eliminates this issue tho....
