Default 2007 Mustang GT 4.6 Mod HELP!

Ok, need to know stangers..............I plan to slowly begin modest modifications to my 2007 (i.e. CAI; TB/Plenum, tuner, etc). What I am seeing in the catalogs and online is a lot of parts for Mustangs up to 05 and a very few to 06. Although hubby is a Ford technician he has not worked on one 07 yet (imagine that lol). I want to know if anyone out there has began modifying a 2007 4.6 yet? If so.....will parts for an 05 or 06 work on an 07???

This maybe a very premature question but it is reality, the car is here now and I need resources. Even if anyone can recommend a website or catalog that I may not have explored yet.

Yes. I asked a ford rep about this. The only difference is two new paint jobs, an appearance package with hood scoop & chrome exhaust tips, heated leather seats, and a few other little things inside. Its all the same under the hood and so on. All the parts should work its just in most catalogs they were published when only the 05-06's were out and so there was no 07 yet to list but it should all be the same. I got to play around with an 07 with that new orange color and the appearnce package and all that bs and it looks and feels exactly the same. BUt ask Ford Racing just to make sure there isnt a belt issue when ordering things like underdrive pullies like the 96- mid 01 to late 01 - 04 model mustang have a different belt setup. Other than that you should be ok . . .

There is a long line of sponsers on our front page. I can't say I've experienced them all but Brenspeed is Top notch. Fast shipping, the best in customer service, and good prices.

Actually there is a differance for 07 to the previous years. We just finished installing one of the first blowers on a 07 and we found that there is some differances in the intake and the cooling system has changed a bit as far where hoses go. I belive that cold air kits, underdrive pulleys will still be the same but if you want to go the route of a blower we have the parts that you will need. If you have any questions please feel free to let me know.
Thanks
Doug

I got a C&L racing CAI and an XCAL2 tune form my 2007 GTvert from evoperform.com. www.Brenspeed.com has a nice web site with pretty picturs that I would recommend looking at.

My CAI's MAF sensor screws were too long so I had to add about 2mm worth of washers to keep them from bottoming out in the aluminum.

You gotta get a CAI and tune! I just put mine back to stock to prepare for my 1st (free) oil change and inspection from the dealer. I really dont like driving it stock.
