New owner, so grass roots question. If add SCT XCalibrator 2 with C&L MAF Trueflow cold air intake combo, how many horses does the pony gain? What are your experiences with the product? Seems like a no brainer to add this on right away.

Im also the very proud owner of a 1 week old 07 Mustang GT 5 speed. I hate to show my ignorance, but somebody please tell me just what a SCT Xcal is? If its a way to self calibrate my fuel system or something "guessing" are they user friendly? And how much are they what ever they do?

Should be good for about 20-30 hp or so. I got the c&l from brenspeed.

Call Brenspeed, talk to Brent White. He is really good about listening to your desires and explaining what different options would best suit you. I started the "old" C&L with the X-cal and Brenspeed tune. Very impressive considering how new the tuning was at that time. I have since Dyno tuned but really only made noticeable gains in the upper RPM range. I have friends with a current Brenspeed tune that are right with me at the track.

Warlok...to answer your question, the SCT xcal is a computer tool that plugs in under your dashboard and allows you to to an array of things to your car, it will allow you to check and clear codes..buts most importantly reprogram the computer for power...and boy does it ever work....I definately suggest calling and talking Brent at Breenspeed, very nice guy and he will program it for you...the computer tuner and the3 cold air kit will run you about $675 I think but worth EVERY penny!!! I just got my '07 a couple weeks ago and once i put the tune in i had to learn how to drive the car all over again...100% better

OH wow. thanks, that is so cool. But what about our warrenty are we pushing the linits here on that. Cause The way you described the power difference, I !want one right now! Iam veery interested in all I can find out about his, and it seems as though it's fairly easy to install.. Please let me know if we will void our ne warrenty ok?

I would have to say "Yes" It will give your warrenty a problem but, if something goes wrong, just put the stock parts back in and re do your tune to stock and go from there. I won't tell on you.......................
