Default CAMshafts

I'm wondering if anyone has intall new cams on their S197. My eyes are on the COMP cams but I'm also interested on Blow by Racing camshafts. Also do their make the car sound louder and meaner?

Default RE: CAMshafts

The cams are still pretty new for these cars, and they're expensive, so there isn't much information out there just yet.

Some people have tried 'em and found the performance to be uninspiring. JDM, which is one of the finest modular motor builders out there, uses the stock cams.

On the other hand, Brent @ Brenspeed seems to like them:

I would be leery of Blow By Racing. They have a reputation for inflating/exaggerating their HP claims. Apparently they also refuse 3rd party dyno tests to validate their claims.
