2007 Mustang GT Mod's
Hello all, I am new to the forum. The wife and I are proud new owners of a 07 GT. Have a few questions that i hope some of you can help with so I can make some of my decisions. I have already put K&N CAI, X pipe and Flowmasters 40 Series. I am undecided on the next few things i want do. First throttle body. I am having a hard time finding out the size on the stock one. The only aftermarket on i see was 62mm. Is it worth the money? Also MAF sensor. And last tunners? I hear alot of good things about the Diablo. Any info will be appreciated.

RE: 2007 Mustang GT Mod's
Welcome to the forum.
As others have said, either the SCT-II or the Diablosport Predator are good tuners. They both do the same thing, so one is not really better than the other. Buy whichever one the tuner shop you like uses. I suggest the SCT-II from Brenspeed. As for the throttle body, it's not worth the money. There are a LOT of "horror stories" from people that have bought them and then had all sorts of problems (and no gains to speak of). They are only worthwhile after you have a lot of other mods like cams or ported heads, and even then they require careful tuning not to throw codes. Feel free to use the forum search feature and you'll be able to read all about this. If you are looking for reliable, proven, HP mods beyond a tune and a CAI, then consider: Underdrive pulleys CMCP delete Longtube Headers Suspension mods such as lower control arms (LCAs), shocks, etc. |

RE: 2007 Mustang GT Mod's
I would go with the SCT, i have just heard better things. Do you think your 40 series is much louder/better than stock. A lot of people say there is not much difference
