Price for S/C installation?
I am investigating the intallation of a S/C into a 2007 GT w/5-speed manual and 3.55 gears. A few really newbie questions please. I think I know the answers to 2 and 3 but I want to be sure.
1) How much would a typical install cost in labor along with tuning?
2) Would the car still pass state inspection (Virginia)?
3) Would the Ford warranty be violated?
Thanks

RE: Price for S/C installation?
the only S/C that would keep any kind of warranty is the Rousch charger installed by one of thier dealers. Ask yourself what it is that you want to do with this car before you descide which brand to go with, and do a alot of research on them. Then do the install yourself. You will learn a ton of things about your car and be plenty proud of yourself. [sm=gears.gif]

RE: Price for S/C installation?
Brenspeed has one for 6,000.00 installed, no ohter hidden cost this is with a dyno tune. Factory warranty will be gone but if you want real h.p. this is the price you pay. 440 rwhp. There are stangs with a good tune, cai and gears that will out run a stock Rousch set-up.

Superchargers are a fairly easy instal. No really hard work involved like a turbo would. You would loose your warranty and please steer away from the roush s/c they are not as efficient. I would go with a procharger or a KB no other way around this. Warranty is gone and dont order a Tuner S/C package. Those do not include the piping.
