Brenspeed makes some nice tunes, I'd say every bit as good as Dougs. I've run both of those and while I never ran a SCT tune I have read that those who had the SCT tune and then switch to a Brenspeed, Dougs or others have noticed a big improvement.

A regular SCT tune is very mild. It's basically a "one size fits all" tune from the SCT factory. They are OK, but a custom tune (such as that from Brenspeed) is much better.
Brenspeed will get the letter code from your ECU and will ask you what kind of mods you have. Then they'll give you a tune unique to your car and your mods.
If you buy the tuner from Brenspeed, the special tunes are free. You get 3 with the tuner.
And yes, you can get a tuner-CAI combo from Brenspeed. Their customer service is extremely good by the way. You won't be dissapointed!

Dont get the intake package from brenspeed, get it from a site that actually upgrades the tunes for free. He is a great guy but his selection is limited, doesn't upgrade your tune for nothing. I know of a guy that bought the LT's from him and he even said no tune required, same for the pulleys. Who the hell is gonna pay 200$ for the steed CCMV's because he doesn't carry the ford racing ones.

Yeah some people just prefer to pay 75$ for every update tune that just takes less than 1 sec to type in your pc code since they prob use the same a/f map as a car they have done. Not to mention the good ammount of lean tunes they have dealt out lately.
