Any of you guys ever removed the throttle body to clean it? mine has a lot of buildup behind the valves. I have never removed it before and don't want to damage it in the process. I have heard ours are pretty fragile.

Use an old sock over your hand and some TB cleaner. An old toothbrush is sometimes needed to scrub the deposits on the TB right after the butterfly. No need to remove the assembly. I do it before every oil change. Note that cleaning the TB can put alot into the oil and lower its TBN due to some acidity in the cleaners.

I say don't mess with the TB on our cars. By forcing the Butterfly open you can mess up the gears used in the drive by wire..
A new one is $$$$
