Headers for an 06 GT
Howdy! What kind of options are there for headers? I am new to this whole thing and am just curious if there are any sound clips anywhere of some good headers matched to an ORH and axlebacks? also how much are they and what gains do you see?

RE: Headers for an 06 GT
I put equal length JBA shorties on mine and love the sound and the improved power. Matched with the FRPP mufflers (made by Borla) it has a great sound without the irritating drone of some mufflers, flowmaster in my experiance. JBA's will run you $400-600 depnding on how good of a shopper you are and then there is installation if you don't do it yourself. I chose JBA because they were smog legal in CA and they are supposed to be made very well with thicker gauge walls then other manufactures. There is supposed to be a 14ish improvement if HP with the shorties and somewhere between there and 20 for the long tube. Keep in mind your future mods and what you really want to do. I also choose the shorties because I can still sit on the fence and chooselater if I want to go S/C or turbo. With long tubes, you will need to replace them with something different unless you go with a Squires remote turbo.
Also, get ceramic coated as the uncoated do created alot of heat!
