Rear end gear ????

Hi, I'm about to order my first Mustang ever and I'm strongly leaning towards a manual GT. Does the optional 3.55 rear end give a noticeable increase in acceleration and does it hurt highway fuel economy vs the stock 3.31? Thanks.

no, just get the 3.31s and then have 4.30s put in down the road

get the stock ones then upgrade to 4.10 i did and love them it really woke the car up who cares about gas mileage its a V8 to begin with if gas mileage is that big of a concern get a V6

my buddy has a 99 GT (t45 shorter 5th gear) and gets better milage then my stock V6
