sounds like you want something out of this world....I wouldn't reccomend doing it in this car because there is NO WAY you're going to be able to put down anywhere near that power on the street without the rear chasing the front end around.....no offense guys

On that note what ever happed to chasing the lowest E/T. But at least with a dyno queen you'll hit 180 if you don't blow anything up on the way there. But I think you can have 700-800 hp in a street car for sure. Just depends on what you call streetable. You might get killed by a civic from a dig to 50but after that you'll be taking down vipers, vettes and just about any other poor soul that gets in the way.[sm=crossbonesgif.gif]

While I agree with 99.9% of your post, I have to disagree with not being able to put down that much power on pump gas. I know of several 700+ hp on pump gas cars here locally. Now granted, they are all twin turbo Terminators, but still, you can make over 700 on pump gas.

I completely understand making serious HP on pump gas as a general principle. But I would be suprised to see it done reliably and consistently on such a small displacement engine. Ever case that I have seen where a lot of HP is made on pump gas they are running a big block with a lot more displacement.

Are they making 700+ HP on 4.6 L?

And this guy's car ( Steve Dean ) is 744rwhp at 17psi on his daily driver tune.
