Default Steeda Shifter and Tranny Noise

Alright every one, I'm new to this so please bare with me..
I have a 06 Mustang GT, It's a project car. The question I have is this. I had the dealer replace the 3.55 rears with a new set of 3.73 from Ford Performance and also drop in a Steeda shifter since the old one was so sloppy. Now I get tranny noise in the cab an a vibration through the shifter when it's under load. I thought that the new shifter was suppose to reduce or elimanate tranny noise with it's urathane bushing.

Any ideas would be helpfull.

After installing my hurst shifter I got the same feedback, more transmission noise and what not, pretty much just got used to it after a week or so. How is the shifter?

The shifter is a great improvement over the OEM.. It's tight and smooth. The gates are fairley narrow it's rather had to mis 3rd and go into 5th now. Other then the noise it's great..

+1 stock was dampened with rubber bushings. Polyurethane = more noise/vibration

You might try replacing the rear urethane bushing that mounts to the body with the stock bushing. You'll lose some of the effectiveness of the shifter but it may be a tradeoff that would make you happier.
