Default MAC Mufflers for sale: $300 (used) or B.O.

Anyone interested in buying my MAC axle-backs? I have an 06 Mustang GT with recently installedMAC flowpath mufflers. They are chrome with 4" rolled tips. Looks killer, sounds awesome, but they are too loud. Anyone looking for a loud and throaty roar should contact me. I live in Alexandria, Virginia and still have the mufflers on my car. So, if you have ever considered the MACs, but have not heard them on the new stang, contact me and you can check themout for yourself. My wife has given me till the end of this month to replace these mufflers with "something quieter".

Hi,
I'm in Fairfax. I have a pair of new Pypes Street Pro's I want to trade out for something quieter. The are currently on an 074.0 Pony packagewith true dual cat back x pipe.
Too loud for me or the cops for that matter ;-).
I want to find mufflers only slightly louder than stock GT's.
I heard JBA has a decent pair like that.
Know anything about them?

If you want something slightly louder or throatier than stock, check out Ford Racing GTA mufflers or Borla 11752. Both are made by Borla however, the ones with the Ford Racing label are cheaper grade stainless (409) versus the Borla Label which is a superior grade stainless (304).I plan on switching my MACs for one of these mufflers because the MACs are just too loud.

From what I've heard, Borla and Ford racing are way louder than stock.
I'm going to go with Flowmaster 17410. They're $299 a pair via Brenspeed and I don't care if they are painted boxes instead of 304 stainless. The tips are though. 4" dia.
Just throwing good money away as far as I'm concerned because even though they will last longer, nobody's going to see them but you or when someone is under the car ;-).

Before you go with Flowmaster, I would do my research. I have heard and read some mixed reviews on these mufflers.

I love my Flows. The first runs of them had problems with a weld breaking in the muffler causing rattling. The new ones don't have that problem anymore.
