Ford Racing VS Borla

Ford Racing VS Borla
For those of you considering these mufflers, this is what I have discovered:
1. Borla states that all of their products are T-304 grade stainless-steel (superior to T-409).The FRPP-5230-GTA mufflersthat come on the Shelby GT/Hertz-GTwhich are also the same mufflers offered in the Ford Racing Power Pack apparantly are NOT made by Borla as many people have mistakenly claimed they are the same. These mufflers are T-304 grade, and don't look or sound like the Borla 11752 "street" mufflers, as many people have mistakenly claimed they are the same mufflers.
2. The FRPP-M-5230-5GTmufflers ARE made by Borla. These are the same as the Borla 11750 "stingers". Both mufflers are T-304 grade and look the same. However, the M-5230-5GT mufflers have the Ford Racing stamping on the tips whilethe 11750 mufflers have the Borla stamping on the tips.
After much research on the forums, speaking with Borla Reps, and hearing the FRPP-GTA mufflers in person, I decided to replace my MAC mufflers with the Borla 11752 street mufflers. The Borla 11752 mufflers are definitely more civilized than the MACs but just as throaty at WOT, and most importantly, I am not experiencing the dreaded drone! I highly recommend these mufflers.
P.S. Anyone interested in buying my MACs?

RE: Ford Racing VS Borla
Exactly. The drone is with the FRPP-5230-5GT (Made by Borla)/ Borla-11750 "stinger mufflers" which are canister in shape and are both made of T-304 grade stainless. No drone with the FRPP-5230-GTA (Not Made by Borla and made of T-409 stainless)/ Borla-11752 "street mufflers" which are oval in shape.

I am very familiar with Borla I have been using ONLY their products since about 1988 on all my F150's and will never use any other exhaust system or muffler on the market.
