snow day in jersey ...

i was digging my car out with my shovel then i was hoping just to get it out ...just in case of an emergency would happen i would be ready for anything.....im tiring to pull it out and im slipping alil i wasnt really pushin the rpms alot....i was at 2k to 3k ..just kind of jumpin around there just so it would hop out of the snow and all of a sudden for like 5 seconds i smell osmething not burning but a weird smell ....andthen it went away ....could it be that i over heated the tran?....................

and another thing my clutch is too high that it picks up on .....is that happening to anybody else?...i dont really beat on my car ......so i dont think thats the problem

It sounds like you were slipping the clutch to much and you just smelled the clutch burning. I've done it before and it's harmless if done for a short period. I wouldn't make a habit of it unless you feel like replacing the clutch.
