Default Is it possible to lose power ?

Guys Is it possible for a tune to become bad after sometime ? I mean like u will have to re-tune it with the same tune ? Cuz just now I raced an 06 GT mustang ( Auto and he was 2 cars behind me... ) Thats not what I expect from what I have.. I mean 4.10,LCA,UCA and a tune ?

also there was a bad smell coming from my clutchs... Could it be that because I stayed alot on high rpm's ? or is it because my clutch is dying ? Im sure I shifted correctly, the race started as a 35mph roll.

thanks

If all you have is 4.10's, then you spanked him pretty good for your mods.

Your car shouldn't be any faster than it is with those mods.

LCA and UCA arent going to do a great deal for you at 35, more from dig i would think. And if he also had a tune then you are rather equal.

I have heard of people that retune the car. The computer can still pick up and modify the drive-by-wire. It could be an illusion also that the tune has lost some of its pep!

Yeah but he is auto, I raced him when I was stock and I gave him a cars length when I went to 4th gear. So don't you guys think that I should've given him more than that ?

If all you have is a tune and gears that is not a whole lot. You are not going to blow himi away. If you had a CAI then you are talking about 25-30 HP gain. Without the CAI your tune isnt gaining that much. If you were starting fromstop you are going to have the best advantage

No guys you are totally wrong.

I raced my friend last night and he had the 93 octane tune from brenspeed and u guys know my mods.. How the F%#$ is it possible for his auto to stay with me in 1st,2nd and 3rd gear ? In 3rd I am just going away SLOWWLY... now I havent spend over 10k for my mustang just to keep runing away slowly. Hell no ..

I only gave him a cars length... I swear that I am begening to lose hope on modding.. One day after new mod the car is hell ****in fast ( Smoked a manual mustang with a tune,JLT2 cai ) soo easily and after a month an automatic mustang with just a tune is behind my *** and hard to shake of....

Plz dont tell me supercharge.. No.. something is wrong ... went to the dealer JUST NOW Came and they said they cant take my car at the current time cuz they are under hard pressured work.. and will take it on wednesday.. I cant wait untill then..

Plz help..
