How to spend $900
I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a C&L Trueflow and SLP x-pipe with hi-flow cats. After that I am going to get some UDP's. My question is this: are all the pulley kits the same? Some are a little cheaper (in price anyway) and I was wondering if this was for any particular reason.
I can also afford the Ford charge motion plates this time around. Are these a good idea as long as I plan on staying N/A for the time being?
(Right now I've got a 93 perf tune from B A M A chips and was told that I could get it upgraded for free once I start adding bolt-ons)

I think the charge motion delete plates are a good idea for you to gain some HP for cheap, the FRPP ones perform just as well as the Steeda even though the price differences are catastrophic [:'(]You will need to get a new tune to compensate for the delete plates, email doug and he will hook it up As for the Pulleys do a quick search on them and read up on some of CrazyAl's posts. he's got some very informative stuff!

PMPParts.com for CMCV. Doug will hook you up with new tune.

Same quality, steeda just wants more for their crap. I have the FRPP CMMC plates and it was well worth it. With those and my 91 tune for them, i gained 13rwhp and 18rwtq. Also you will NOT lose any low end TQ or HP, i gained 10rwhp and 10rwtq at 2500rpms and it varies all the way up but it gains power. I paid 85 bucks shipped for mine and well worth it.

The CAI and the Hi flow cats will be great, but if you(or you know someone that could get you a good price), i believe that a differetn gear would show the most difference. Maybe a 3.73. I have to worry about emmisions so i am trying to stay away from changing cats or getting LTH. That is how i would spend around a grand.

My car is registered in Florida with no emissions testing. So messing with the exhaust isn't really a problem. Even if it becomes a problem, that's one day a year I have to throw the old cats on. Not a huge deal.
I do a LOT of highway driving so I'm not sure I want to take a hit on gas mileage and/or deal with the higher rev's all the time. If I do make a change to the rear it will probably be to the 3.90's or 4.10's, but that is a ways off.

Going to 4.10's will only add about 3-400rpms, which isn't bad at all for highway driving. If you have 3.55's stock, i wouldn't recommend 3.73's, you wont feel to much of a difference. Also you will gain about 1-2mpg in the city and could lose 1-2mph on the highway, though it will depend on how heavy your foot is. the mid pipe will add some HP and tone if you go catless, but it's already 2.5" piping, so it's not that great of a HP gain like on the pre 2005 mustangs which had 2 1/4 piping stock. The CAI, tune, cmmc plates, and gears would make a HUGE improvement.
