I installed Motoblues from RPM outlet.
The factory crank pulley does not have puller holes tapped into it. So you have to use a standard three jaw puller.
My puller would not fit without removing the radiator so I went to Autozone (loaner tools).
http://www.autozone.com/in_our_store.../posi_lock.htm
I had to use a 1/4 drive deep socket on an extension slipped over the t-handle to obtain enough leverage to turn the puller shaft.
It is a cool puller in that it locks the jaws so you can work one handed from the top.
If you don't own a torque wrench I'm Autozone loans those too.

I also switched to a Goodyeasr Gatorback Serp belt.

I had to use a cheater pipe on the breaker bar.
Set the parking brake, put he xmsn in 3rd (manual) chock two wheels tite (2x4s work if kicked in).
Spray the bolt with Kroil or Blaster pentrating oil and go drink two beers.
I feels like a giant rubber band when trying to break it lose though.

In an extreme case:
Remove the fuel pump relay and run the car until it quits.
Lay the end of the breaker bar on the conctrete (drivers side) so that during cranking it gets lodged against the concrete. (Always check the rotation to make sure I'm not telling you the wrong side)
Bump the starter and check your results.
If the bolt is loose you're home free. You may have to repeat.
Don't forget to put the fuel pump relay back in AFTER you are done.

Is it just me, or do pulleys seem like an awful lot of work for maybe 5hp????

I think they're worth more than 5hp plus it is only a 2-3 hr job including the hassle of finding the correct puller.

But worth it? Depends.....on the owner I guess. If I were to pay to have it done (can't imagine doing that) I guess it may not be worth it.

I say yes if you do it yourself. The parts are not that expensive. The reason I say yes is because not just getting some added power, but the fun part of doing the work. I enjoy installing the mods. It is like a hobby and allows me to spend some time out in the garage.

8 rwhp for 160.00 is not a bad deal.and it only took a couple of hour's to do.You do need a chrysler puller to do the job.
