Just installed the Tri-Ax Shifter

Default Just installed the Tri-Ax Shifter

I just installed the Steeda tri-ax shifter the other day and it seems when i am in gear the shifter seems to vibrate alot...Is that common... and also 5th & Reverse gears are a bit hard to get into..any ideas? Please help

Vibration would probably be caused by the stiffer bushing (it's polyurethane, right?). Most people comment that 5th and R are difficult to get into at first, but they loosen up a bit over time. I think it has something to do with the spring assist for getting into 3rd.

The Tri-Ax is not a "luxury" shifter. It was designed for HARD, slam-bam-thank-you-mam racing environments.

so do you think it is something that i have to worry about?.. It goes in gears fine and sometimes when it is in gear it has a vibration when my hand is on the shifter.
