longtubes and x pipe

Default longtubes and x pipe

hi everyone love this site always read everyones post. i have a 06 gt that i had a x pipe put in so now i got the kooks longtubes with everything with them so another x pipe, they installed the headers so i have 2 x pipes in there first i had the h pipe cut out and weld in a x,it goes from an x to x somy question is will it hurt performance or help thanks.

What kind of monkey shop did you use????? I can't even picture what you are describing!!!! It is going to hurt performance....the cross-over is only to equal out the amount of exhaust leaving through both tail pipes...more X's are just going to slwo it down....I can't even figure out why the shop you used even did that....seriously...you need to get someone in there to fix that mess...

yeah i dont know why they did not take out my other x pipe, so i called todd at brenspeed.com where i got them from and he said it would be ok, i hope so. i will try and get some pics up just think of 2 x's right after the other one.

LOL. Cant even think of what this would look like. PLS get pics up asap. Not making fun of you at all. I cant understang why the shop would do somthing like that. Why if the seen you had oneon and the L/T's came with one why wouldnt they take your old one out and put the new in? I dont know gotta see some pics.

LOL, I'm not following it either. Best I got out of it is you already had an x, bought only the Kooks headers (catted?) and welded in your existing x. Also reads like you have two x pipes under there? I would also like to see that pic. Sounds like something at a carnival...Frankenstang....
