X-pipes dont add much power but change the tone of the exhaust. I feel the stock h-pipe is great. I know you will say the exhaust gases will flow better which therefore you get a performance increase but if you feel it I will be shocked. Save the money and the time of yanking it out all the time and do a different performance mod instead....Like maybe UDP's, or tighten up the suspension and get the power to the ground, etc

They are better for perfomance but bad for the noise since the exhaust becomes a tad raspy. But I am performance>looks so I dont care. Also I am having problems with the pypes x-pipe,but they said they are taking care of it and so far they have kept their word. They are a very good company hard these days to find a company that still concentrates on customer satisfaction; so I will not say anything else.

I have the Flowmaster 40s on my 07, and I plan on knocking out my cats if I ever have time. I'm sure this will give you the sound you are looking for and more HPs. Converters restict flow.More flow, more HP. Dealer will not know when looking under your car, warranty still good, no problems when turning the car back in.

You are forgetting you will need a tune so you dont get a check engine and taking the car to the dealer with the tune loaded could incurr in 120$ reprogramming fee if they see anything wrong. Also just so you know the stock cats will cost you around $500 if you ever want them back.
