Default to all spec clutch stg.2 owners

I need your help..

as few months ago I ordered a spec clutch kit stage 1 for a friend from spec's original site.. along with a aluminum flywheel , aluminum pressure plate and I also clicked on the lightweight box after u press add to cartthat adds almost 100$ for better material or I am not sure what.when we fixed it everything is great except that the clutch pedals feels more like a stage 3+ or 4... its so heavy that if u want to imagine it, imagine the stock clutch pedal stronger by 3 times or so...

To get to the point.. I have a friend who owns a 2004 mach 1 who has the stg 2+ kit + flywheel + aluminum presusre plate and he also clicked on that button.. but his clutch pedal feels almost heavier than stock by a little so I like that..

what confused me is that some guuys here at mustang forums has the spec clutch stg 2 kits and their clutch pedals seem not heavy at all .. So can I ask how exactly did you choose ? or can u give me the part numbers ? + flywheel ?

and what is this new TWIN clutch kit ? it seems expensive but what is the diffrence ?

I know I wrote alot but I need this mod..

so now im getting a clutch kits stage 2 formyself and a friend

The twin disk is what the GT500 uses. It is pretty pricey. Is there an adjustment for the clutch? I don't think there is because they are hydrolic, I could be wrong though.

Do u think the twin cltuch is better than the stg 2 clutch set ? and will an aluminum flywheel fit ?

I'm pretty sure, could be wrong, that when you use the twin disc you need a specific fly wheel. The benifit with the twin is a large amount clamping force with less petal pressure. The down side is cost. Your talking well over 2 large for replacement and labor in a shop that actually knows what it doing. I read an article where guys who were racing the GT500's a lot and hence, burning up their clutch, were complaining about the cost of replacement. The single discs can hold the power output, but with more petal pressure.

The price tag at the dealership for just the parts were around $1800.

What kind of power are you attaching this clutch to? Is the rwhp that high?

Not really high at this time but im planing to do alot in the future ( but not a S/C)

And this explains why the gt500 cltuchpedal felt awesome..
