Electric mods for our 3V'S ?
well I have been hearing those 5.7 lumina guys saying their cars have like aftermarket plugs and wires and these stuff. I have been wondering does our cars responed good to them ?
and what are the best aftermarket plug for N/A mustangs ? u know for more power.
another question out of the box. is there a way to make our engines, trannies run cooler ?
I own a 5spd manual ..

99+ Mustang GT's don't have plug wires. They have Coil on Plug (COP) which is way better than any wire kit.
Plugs are not going to do a significant improvement on a stock GT. Get a tuner and put in a more agressive tune. Because 05+ mustangs are all electronic, a handheld tuner is usually a good way to unlock up to 20 crank HP more. Get a CAI +tune and that number could jump to 25HP

In addition - no one currently makes a 'performance' plug other than Autolite.
People with power adders often go to the lower heat range Autolite HT0 to help stave off detonation.
But no power adds from the plugs, wires, or coils themselves that I know of.

hmm..Accel makes a set of the COPs and so does Motoblue, I think Granatelli does also.I've heard a lot of bad reviews though about the COPs. Maybe if you tune the car for the new coils you'll get some gains. hmm...emailone of the tuners out there and see what they think.Besides those plugs^^thats about it.

The COPs are a problem because of quality control. Gains are little.
I had two GMS COPs fail. The upgraded connectors are a good upgrade. Those are much cheaper than the COP kits. The upgraded connector replaces the spring connector between the plug and the coil.

Im already getting motor, tranny, diffrential royal purples synthetic oil.. and I will also add a redline water wetter bottle in the radiator.
Im not sure if thermostates will help or not. I have asked this question last year.. and I am going to ask it again hope I get a better answere... will the thermostats help ? is going 160 ok ?
for a silly example.. If I made mini custom scoops underthe car that will catch some air and transfer it to the tranny will it help ? I know it depends on the speed and air im getting .. but it will be a small scoop.
thanks.. and I guess the electric thingy is going to be stock unless I zex my GT..

Getting more air to the tranny would prolly do jack, sounds pretty unfeasible to do as well.
The best thing you can do to cool the tranny is get the biggest tranny cooler as possible.
