Intake/Exhaust Recommendations?
I've had my '07 GT for almost 2 weeks and, other than sitting in the garage while I use the SUV for work and hauling the boat, I've only put about 500 miles on it. My first intended mods are a cold air intake and something with the exhaust. Of course, I want to net the most HP gain I can but I don't want an ugly install, a LOT of noiseor major cost. I've heard a lot of good reports about the Flowmasters. Would that be considered an axle-back or is there a system that includes the Flowmasters and something else that has more bang-for-the-buck? As far as the intake, I'm concerned about proper filtration and have heard that some of the intakes out there don't do a very good job filtering well.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Intake/Exhaust Recommendations?
I'd say the CAI and tune will give you the best performance increase for the money.
The stock exhaust system is pretty efficient, so if you dont want it louder i'd leave it the way it is, the only power you can make here is by installing LT headers which are expensive and louder.
I've seen some filtration tests and you are right,OEM papel filter do a better job, but they are also more restrictive and in my opinion and experience the micro particles that hi flow filters might let into your engine won't do any harm.
