UDP install on an auto ?
this may be a dumb question but this is my first mustang with a auto, i read somewhere on here about having to hold the torque converter when installing crank pulley, anyone know anything about this or how to do ? I have changed pulleys before on older 5.0 sticks. Thanks if anyone can help.

RE: UDP install on an auto ?
To torque it down to spec, you will have to hold the torque converter. It's not hard at all. If you look at the front of the tranny, there's a plug that uncovers a part of the TC. If you spin it, a bolt will line up that you can put a socket on. Have someone hold that steady as you tighten the bolt on the crank pulley. If you need specific install information, I think i still have the instructions I used somewhere around here and they were helpful.
