my transmission on the floor andI twistered the input shaft.
Any thoughts to an after market automatic transmission sealed peice of crap not fixable unless I send it to ford red flags will go up after that

I've heard a few guys are using the Level III 5R55S from Stage 3 motorsports. I believe its not on the website so you'll have to call about it but they can handle a ****load of power.

Do you mean level 10 stage 3 5r55? level 10 being the name of the company.
Or is there a company called Stage 3 motorsports that makes 5r55 trans?

nope, lol, it was level 10. I just hand't looked at in a few months so I had forgotten it. I also don't plan on needing to order anything from them so I guess I just pushed it out of my mind until now...

there is a stage 3 motorsports, but they aren't the company were referring to. ww.levelten.com Give them a call about the 5r55 cuz its not on their site, but from what I've heard they do make a great tranny.

lentech also has a conversion to install a 4r70w in our cars. they can handle much more power and there's a better selection of converters and you can get a transbrake.
when mine goes i'm ditching it for a 4r70w with a brake and an 8" converter

levelten offers a transbrake on their 5R55s, I only recommend the 5R55 because of the 3.35? first gear compared to the 4R70W's 2.95 1st gear. When you have 4.10s in the rear I guess it's a small difference at that point but that's just me.
