Default P0133 AND P0153 TROUBLE CODES

I installed a k&n CAI, Bassani long tube headers, bassani x-pipes, no cats straight pipes and flowmaster mufflers. I keep getting P0133 and P1053 codes. I used a superchips flashpaq tuner which helped a little, but i keep getting bad lag in the low end torque. When i first start the car it'll idle rough close to the point of stalling. Any ideas?

What exactly is the description of those codes, I guess they are either related to the O2 or MAF sensors, but could also be related to knocking. the P before the number mean powertrain but I dont have the diagnostic codes right now.

O2's slow to respond is because of the long tubes. With the long tubes, the o2 sensors are furthur away from the engine than with the stock manifolds. Because of this they take longer to heat up, and longer to register changes the computer make to a/f. This, and your other issues can be fixed with a custom tune.

i tried tuning it with the superchips flashpaq, but it only helpedin the high end. the low end still lagged. I asked if they had a tune for the headers, but they said it would be a while before they had anything like that. Should i get the predator or the SCT XALII instead? i was hoping i could fix this without a tune. I was planning on taking it in to the deadership and am not sure if they'll even do anything about it.

i have the exact same problem right now and was actually about to start a new post on the same subject. I have L/T's and O/R H-pipe also. The rear O2's are turned off but now the front two are acting up. It also has the rough start-up and feels a lot less throaty. I am wondering if they are going out or something. If i reprogram my car with my custom tuned SCT2, it erases the codes but has the same start-up and low end power problems. Taking my car to the shop some time this weekend to get it looked at. I will post results...

Like always, I place an order for a mod (LT headers), then go read more about it before the stuff arrives - then get scared at posts like this.

Is there anything to this? Am I gonna be OK with a Bamachips tune for LT headers? Cold startup problems? Low end power problems? O2 codes? Geez...

You should be fine with a Bamachips or Brenspeed tune (or even dyno tune).
