I just ordered the 3.73 rear (Ford motorsports)for my GT. Some people told me to go with a 4.10, but said I might have the issue of "tacking" out a lot sooner. I don't race my car at the track, so I figured it would be safer to go with more standard gears.... I'm sure a ton of you guys have put the 3.73 and 4.10 in. I was just wondering how much of a difference in "giddy up" I will notice. Let me know what you all think about the change. Thanks a million.

depends if you sated with 3.31's or 3.55's

i got the 4.10 cus alot of the threads said that it still didnt deter from its daily driving ability i havent put them in yet but i can gurantee that anybody who replies to this thread who has 4.10 will say that the "giddy up" increased alot i had 3.73 in my 2000 gt and the "giddy up" was definately alot better then it was before the gears

I started with 3.10's. thats what came stock.

Umm umm.....[] Unless your caris an autoshoulda ordered at least4.10s. My car doesn't "tach out" or anything crazy like that.

+1...but that's okay, that's why pencils have erasers...OP, just pay the shipping and the restocking fee and get the FRPP 4.10s unless you're auto...it's a lot cheaper than paying for TWO gear installs lol...

Hey 373 are fine and if your planning on going FI, you may prefer them. However, 410's are the holy grail of gears if you plan to stay NA.
