Default cobra motor swap?

thinking about supercharging my 2007 gt and was wondering should i just get a 04 cobra motor and put it in since it has forged internals already or forge the internals and buy a supercharger? i would be doing the work my self if i swaped the motors but would have someone put in the internals if i kept my motor.

unless you want to change all your wiring harnesses and PCM you should stick to supercharging the S197 3-valve. The cost to add forged assembly will be a fraction of what it would cost to convert to a 4-valve and new PCM, custom headers, shifter mounting issues etc.

if you really want to do a motor swap get the GT500 motor. it is made for our cars already.

No, I don't belive our blocks are machined for the heads or water passages. How much power are you looking to make?
