Default What is the formula to determine RPM/tire size/rear gear ratio???

Still trying to decide between the 3.73 and 4.10 gear sets. Does anyone have the formula you plug your tire size and speed into to determine the best gear ratio?

Thank you sir. That`s a sweet little spread sheet. With the data I plugged in, which was with a tire size 255/45/18 with a diam. of 27" and a rear gear of 4.10 I should hover around 2400 to 2600 RPM at 65 to 75 MPH. That`s not too bad at all. In fact that seems perfect. That should be the point you get into the beef of the torque curve.

Hell I could've told you to go with 4.10s without the damn spreadsheet lol...

Hahaha...Yeah, i looked around and saw all your posts singing the praises of the mighty 4.10 [sm=hail.gif]

You`ve convinced me bro. I was pretty much headed in that direction, but I wanted to make sure first. It`s not uncommen for me to take a road trip here or there. I drop down to Atlanta quite a bit for concerts and that`s about a 4 hour drive. And that`s where I went to school so you know I`ll have to take the new ride.
