Just went and got to drive my dads 2002 gt witch has a lot of money in it. His car has a built 302 5.0 motor. 04 cobra rear end IRS. 04 cobra trans 6speed. The car is putting down 375 hp and 380 TQ. One thing that you can do with this car that you can not do with mine is if you are in first gear going abd 20 MPH going around a corner or going in a line you can light the tires right up. The car has 4.10 gears and 2001 cobra block with crank. If I put 4.10 gears in mine will I be able to do that around a corner. My car is a 2006 gt brenspeed tune and the JLT2 CAI. Asking people that have 4.10 gears will I be able to do this, with out USING the clutch..

Let me get this straight, you WANT to be able to break the rear end loose in a corner? For what purpose? The goal of a good suspension is to eliminate this from happening... unless you are into drifting

if u want your car to do that you have to be into drifting and not 1/4 cus if you race that thing doing that at the 1/4 i would be surprized if you even got it into the 14 second mark

no i dont race it at the track, i just love driveing liek that, will it do ti, i dont think are motors have the power to. even tuned

uh I can light my tires up when turning but they dont just spin my *** end also comes around. You like driving like that huh? so how many times have you been to jail for reckless driving? Not wise.

Around 15-20mph, I can punch it (in a straight line)and leave some tracks. I won't spin through the rest of 1st and into 2nd or anything but they spin more than i'd like if i were racing. Luckily when I race at the track I have DRs so traction isn't a concern for me and I don't race on the street so nothing to worry about. Now punching it around a corner is just retarded.

Yeah actually when I did my exhaust vids I smoked my tires and left black marks while going in a straight line.
watch at around 1:02 when I do the first drive by. If you want to see the black marks LMK and ill load the video and post it.
