called the stealership and they quoted a 6.5 hour job costing me 515 bucks. The original guy i talked to said a 3 hour costing under 300 bucks, but evidently they claim that was a misquote, i didnt get it in writing, so that sucks. Is 515 right? sounds way too high. I told them i had the gears and the bearing kit so i guess all i would need is the fluid. That seems rediculous, 515 bucks? And six and a half hours for a rear end swap? gotta be some mix up? Any one else offer labor prices and hours? Thanks
BTW im trying to install motive 3.90s

The labor cost for my install was 325. The shop extras including fluidsand tax added another 54 dollars to it, for a total of 379. (I brought in my own gears.) I posted a pictorial about the install in the 2005-2008 general section at www.mustangforums.com/m_3870374/tm.htm if you're interested.
