515 bucks for gear install labor?

The original guy i talked to said a 3 hour costing under 300 bucks, but evidently they claim that was a misquote, i didnt get it in writing, so that sucks. Is 515 right? sounds way too high. The labor cost for my install was 325. The shop extras including fluidsand tax added another 54 dollars to it, for a total of 379. (I brought in my own gears.) I posted a pictorial about the install in the 2005-2008 general section at www.mustangforums.com/m_3870374/tm.htm if you're interested.
