!!WTF!!
Something is afoul here. Either they didn't put in 4.10s or your runnin steamroller like Drag radials j/k. Make sure they didn't put in 2.73s or something stupid. You sayspeedo accurate? What rpms at what speeds are you turning intop gear?

You do mean the tach reads much higher at any given speed right ???
With the 4.10 at 80mph you should be about 2850 rpms.....I will agree though that it was almost easier to spin the tires with the 3.55.
Seems to launch better and thus spin less....which by the way is what you want, I can honestly say though that with the 4.10 I can get to 100 waayyy quicker than the 3.55. The car really pulls hard , I have come upon some pretty quick cars when entering the freeway and they for some reason I am sure can tell that my car is not stock because most just let me go and don't challenge.
Put your cai in and recalibrate and you should feel the difference

Case ace, I just noticed you have an auto and your speedometer is still not calibrated for the new gears. By your other post, if I'm reading itright, you haven't installed your tune yet.
My understanding is that if you don't retune (flash) new shift points in your auto-equipped carwhen changing the rear end ratio you can overheat/damage the clutches in your auto transmission. With a manual tranny, it's not a big deal other than the speedo being off.
I would get the tune on the car (if you haven't already) for the new ratio before possibly damaging the transmission. This might help your launching, too.
I would be interested in hearing what others have to say regarding this.
