The auto tranny (5R55S) is a good tranny. It does have a tendency to fail under forced induction. Most people are losing third gear. That is what happened to my tranny after 3000 miles with supercharger. I was at 10 PSI
I now have a built automatic tranny by level 10 and it had held up perfectly for 7000 miles of hard driving and 1/4 mile runs. I am running 11 PSI now. The tranny I have has stronger nands, clutches etc to hold 800 RWHP.
Some trannies dont fail but I know of at least twenty that have failed after forced induction.

IDK what company, TCI maybe, is advertising a 5r555 auto that can take about 800hp worth of abuse. They're advertised in the MMFF mags.
ps the cast engine internals and 2 pc ds may have some objections about your FI...you've got more to consider than the slushbox snapping
