which is the better rear,and does anyone know if the 2007 will fit in my 88LX..

Which is the better rear between what? You'll need to fab new mounts and change the pinion flange at the very least.

the 05-up 8.8 is about 60" widebetween brakebacking plates vs. the fox body at 54" plus the s197's use a single UCA and the fox's have dual UCA's not to mention the LCA brackets are in a different location. i just have to question why you would want to do that anyway when the fox body cars already have an 8.8 anyway??
it would be easier to go the other way(fox body 8.8 into an s197)

Well thanks for your replies.. What I have is an 88LX T/Top car ,I got a super deal on a 2007 GT Motor,Trans, Exhaust,Rear end, Radiator/Fan,and drive shaft,looks like I will be getting rid of the drive shaft and rear,well this motor is going into the 88LX,and maybe turbo'd,All I do know is that I need the AJE K Member ..
And please dont tell me to go over to Modularfox.com--all they do is b!tch about using the search for crap that is not even in the search.
