Default I said I wouldn't post about ordering my CAI & Tune...

... since I always thought "Ok, guys. Big F**king deal, you ordered a toy. Just let us know when it's installed and kickin' azz." Well, the shoes on the other foot now and I'm on pins and needles.

BTW, I ordered the Steeda kit from Brenspeed last night and am anxiously awaiting their follow-up e-mail. I guess I'm just a 52 y/o kid...

That's exactly how this 59 year old kid felt when I ordered mine.

I don't feel anywhere NEAR 52, driving or not!!! The Stang just happens to help.

And "C'mon, Brenspeed! Get my CAI & Tune shipped soon, PLEASE!!!" [sm=wootwoot.gif]

Hey, I'm 57 and it's like I'm in the backseat of my 57 Chevy on prom night. ANTICIPATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's great, and wait until you slap a S/C on that toy. Just look up all the 1/4 mile times for the old muscle cars and realize that this car blows 90% of them away right off the show room floor and 95% of them with the bolt ons and 99.9999% with a S/C. How does blow the doors off a 427 Shelby Cobra sound? I looked that up the other night and it come inat low 12's. Alot of the S/C mustangs are in the 11's

Nuke, do yourself a favor a contact Brent or Dave at Brenspeed and ask what cold air intakes are compatible with the Saleen S/C. That way if in the future you decide to go with a S/C you won't be buying another type. I know that the C/L intake won't fit with a S/C unless you buy engine mounts that lower the motor. Just make sure that whatever mods you do would be compatible with a S/C in the future. Once you get this tune from Brent the mod bug is definetly going to bite hard.

Yeah, college will seem cheap once this bug bites. It's nothing to see anywhere from 1000.00 to 20,000.00 being dropped on these. Speed kills, not really, it just makes you real broke and the wife begins to think you have another woman. Which in most cases is true, it just happens to be the car. Anyway the car is much more responsive. Heh.
