Default Rattling Noise

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone here has had a similar problem, and can help me identify what the issue is. I work too late everyday to make it to the dealer before they close, and cannot get any time off. Weekends are always a pain. I'm hoping my fellow MF'ers will be able to help me out.

The sound started a couple of days ago. When driving, doing about 30-45 mph, if I just tap the gas pedal, the hear my exhaust note, I hear a vibrating/rattling noise. It sounds lilke it is coming from inside the cabin, but yet it seems the noise is coming from outside the cabin as well. Also, wehn I accelarate and give a tad extra push, the next starts each time my car changes gears. The noise itself is hard to explain. It sounds like a sharpened vibrating noise. Not sure what the hell it is. Thanks for reading, let me know what you all think.

Front? Mid? Rear?

I know that the exhaust has been a culprit for many, and if it's from the rear it could be the pipe clamp (about 50ft. lb should do it) just behind the rear axle before the muffler or one of the exhaust hangers scraping. There have been quite a few posts on rattles so I suggest you do a search. But without some more defined info, it'll be tough for us to help.

It sounds like it is coming from the rear. However, when I put the car in park, and rev, it does not make the same noise, and while I revved the car, my gf checked the back, and very faintly heard the noise. So, more then likely rear rattling noise. I hope that it is not the transmission making some freaky noises on me. I'll check the clamps out, and make sure they are tightened.

Im getting the same rattle ever since my header install. My rear hangar clamps were loose. I need to get the car in the air to check the rest. My 1st thought was a baffle in the muffler was loose? But according to your thread we have have different mufflers. Good luck, hope it's somethimg simple.
