what fuelsystem does well for 600hp?
I have a keene bell supercharger on my 05 gt and I want a fuel system that can handle the hp. The car surges a little when I get on it and even when Im driving down the highway. Ive heard of putting twin fuelpumps on it but the boost-a-pump from Kenne bell was supposed to take care of that problem. What would you guys do in this case?
thanks

If for some reason the KB BAP wont do the job and it is that big of a problem, it looks like this GT500 fuel systempackage from Brenspeed will do the job. However, it is a tad pricier than a BAP
Good luck

thanks for the idea, that is a tad bit pricey. When I get my car down here I will take a real good look and see if I can justify a new fuel system. Im hoping it is a cheaper fix than that lol
thanks again

If it is surging in normal driving I wouldn't think that was a limitation of the stock fuel system. Dunno how much more power you are pushing than I am but I have the stock fuel systemplus a BAP and it works great.
You may want to put her on the dyno and do some diagnosis.

One of the members here running a Hellion kit and pushing 550 hp on a forged stroker *was* using the GT Supercar dual setup but switched to the GT500 pumps. Seems the GT duals weren't keeping up (as odd as that sounds).

yeah i was running the dual GT500 pumps and had pressure problems at 510rwhp. The air/fuel still showed ok, but during the dyno tuning Brenspeed was somehat concerned because normally they don't drop off like mine was doing. I was shooting for 600rwhp, so I decided to just order a full blown system from MMR and not risk anything. I may have just gone with the GT500 setup but Brenspeed wasn't selling them at the time. Just a note though, my car did not demonstrate what they usually see on the dual GT pump setup.

I have a Kenne Bell 2.6L with the boost a pump
I'm having the same problem
I think the boost a pump is boost activated in the tune
I'm not shure but I think there is a way to wire the boost a pump to be on all the time, you could try that trick
Also there is a TSB (Ford recall) for a bad fuel pump (hesitation after a long cruise) check to see if your pump is recalled.
I just got the GT 500s pumps, but not installed yet
I'm getting them installed next week I'll let you know if I feel any difference
