I have an offroad truck that came factory with 4.10 in the axles I swapped in with the 37" tires. I regeared to 4.88's and added a detroit in the rear. I can't tell much difference between the 4.10's and 4.88's. I was actually disappointed in the minimal difference. The power is a little better....but not much. Wish I had went to 5.13's.

I realize this is not a mustang mod...but encouragement to not be afraid to swap to lower gears. Its not the end of the world.
